A water body is visible in background with a small open boat on the shore next to a building that appears to be a smokehouse. Contemporary photos in the collection support the assumption that this photo was made on a group outing to the Goose Bay area.

Identified as probably Goose Bay of Cook Inlet, Matanuska Valley, Alaska
