This winter color view of Palmer is seen from the hill on the west side of John Bugge's homestead looking east. In foreground are some of Bugge's fields and log buildings. In far middle ground are many buildings located in the business district of the city. Lazy Mountain and Beyer's Peak dominate the background. All is covered in snow under a sunny, blue-sky day.
