This image shows an Alaska Road Commission dump truck in foreground leaving a gravel pit with a load of fine textured gravel while just behind it the loading shovel is partially visible. Stenciled on the truck door is a three-digit number under letters ARC. Two men are visible on the shovel, the machine operator and an observer standing next to him. They are both focused on the front of the shovel at left, assumed to loading another truck. The bank of the pit is partially visible behind the shovel at left and heavy forest is faintly visible in middle ground at right.
