This photo of a mobile loading chute shows the constructed elements of the machine. Heavy timbers form the inclined frame upon which the bed is constructed of heavy cross planks. The bottom beam of the frame is beveled at the ends to facilitate skidding into position. Two heavy planks lie lengthwise on the cross-plank floor for the cat tracks to run on. Sideboards on both sides contain the material being pushed up the ramp. Two steel railroad rails are visible running the length of the chute floor at an elevation to allow the cat blade to slide on them rather than damage the floor timbers.
